Going on a Vermont vacation soon

Well everyone, it’s about time for a vacation for myself! I’m from Vermont, so every year once it gets summer I go up for a visit. I just can’t stand the cold up there in the winter, but summer is nice up there.

So I’ll be going up there in two weeks. This time I have a camcorder so I’ll take some nice videos of the woods and places up there. I’ll share them on here when I get back. You do want to see my vacation videos, right? :)

I’ll take my leather jacket as it still gets cool up there in the evenings. I’ll go up to Stowe and several other places where you can go far up the mountains and see beautiful views.

I’ll take my laptop so I’ll still be working and taking orders, so feel free to order anything while I’m on vacation please! It will be nice to go and see some place different for a bit.

My first leather apparel youtube videos

My my have I been busy! Last weekend I finally got together with my friend and made about 6 videos with her modeling the leather apparel. I’m disappointed in how they came out. I thought I had enough light, but these had to be brightened up in the editor.

As a result they are washed out and don’t show the detail I wanted. I also still have not figured out how to add songs to the video. So they don’t have any sound, except for cars going by outside!

Awesome cycles youtube video from bike week 2010

I know I know, not MORE bike week stuff! Yes, but this is the last one for a while. I’ve posted a video of bikers from bike week. I’ve posted pictures of custom bikes from bike week.

This last and final bike week video is more of the custom bikes. I got a few other ones that are not in my picture gallery. Plus it’s nice to see the bikes all around as I walk around them.

So check out this video from bike week 2010. I’m sure you’ll like the bikes and trikes you see in here. My next post will be something about leather, I promise!

In fact my good friend Ashley is posing for some new leather items this weekend for me. Going to make a new youtube channel for just leather videos. I’ll let you know once I make a few. ;)

Custom bike picture gallery from bike week 2010

Once again I have some more pictures from bike week 2010. This time I made a new picture gallery of some really hot looking custom bikes. They were on display at the Daytona speedway in Daytona beach.

I was going to make a slide show of them. But you can’t do these pictures justice by compressing them. The pictures are very good and high format so I wanted to use them as big as I could.

Daytona beach bike week 2010 youtube video

Hey everyone, I’ve been having a good time at bike week in Daytona beach 2010! I went up a few days ago and shot this short video of bikers on main st. It’s not much but it gives you a little idea of what was going on.

But I made an even better bike week video of the wet T shirt contest at Dirty Harry’s event! I’ve still got to edit that one but I’ll post it asap. Finally today, Sunday, I went back up and spent my time at the Daytona 500 speedway.

They have lots of booths there selling leather jackets, T shirts and everything else you can think of. They also had some amazing custom bikes that I took videos and pictures of. I need to edit those also.

Once that video is made it will be even better than the one above. Bike week this year was one of the coldest I have ever seen. There was not as much going on due to the cold weather, the beaches were empty for the most part.

But it’s always a fun time and interesting,,,, always interesting! Anyway watch my video above for a little sample of bike week 2010. I’ll have two or more that are better in a few days. ;)

Bike week at Daytona Beach 2010!

The Daytona Beach Bike week event is almost here! Bike week 2010 is from Feb. 26th to March 7th. Every damn year I say to myself I’m going to open up a booth and sell some of my leather jackets, but every year I never get around to it until it’s too late!

I have a small gallery you see in the top left sidebar of bike week 2009. I got up there late in the day so I did not have time to take much pictures. This year I’m going to spend a full day up there taking videos with my new camcorder!

This year is going to be a good one, with record bikers attending. You might think that with the recession not many would show up. But bikers are resourceful types, and bike week is too big to pass up!

Happy New Year from Leather Supreme!

Happy new years from leather supreme

HI everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas! I had a relaxing, quiet day to myself, made some phone calls to family up north. So now it’s almost the new year and I wanted to wish everyone a happy and better 2010. I’m sure most people are going to be glad to see 2009 go away!

I’ll be happy to start a fresh new year that’s for sure. I’ve been working on some new websites and have learned a lot of new things this year. I’m making more links to my website here and soon I’ll change the front page so it looks more like a normal leather jacket website.

Then I’ll add a lot more items in here. Leather saddle bags and all the other motorcycle bags, more leather jackets, gloves, vest and so on. Maybe even add some sunglasses, accessories and other things. My tourist site is getting big too; that’s the one in the left sidebar square banner here.

So anyway I hope the new year is good to you all, and I hope you have fun on New Year’s eve. Please drive carefully, I can’t sell you a leather jacket if your in the hospital! Happy New Year’s! :)

Happy Thanksgiving from Leather Supreme

Well it’s Thanksgiving week, time to look around you and be thankful for what you have. I suppose this year a lot of folks don’t have a whole lot to be thankful for. Those who don’t have a job, lost their home or otherwise are in the grip of these hard times are not going to be in the mood for it.

But my favorite saying is, “everything is relative”. Those who think they have it bad and feel down don’t understand that many, many others would love to trade places with you. Everyone always thinks the other guy has it better and your the one missing out.

Trust me, that’s not true. Many would be happy to get a cold bowl of rice on Thanksgiving day, then go back to their tarp hut. So quit whining! Here in the USA many families will be having a traditional Thanksgiving, with a family get together, football on the big screen and lots of beer!

I even made a special Thanksgiving leather jacket, complete with a cool turkey on the back! It should sell fantastic, I’m sure you want one, right? No? You don’t want a special turkey leather jacket for Thanksgiving? Well ok, maybe I’ll re-think it then. Anyway I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and remember, everything is relative, so be thankful for what you DO have.

Happy Halloween from leather supreme

Well this is a late post for Halloween, but it’s still before most go trick or treating today so it’s close enough! I’m still up visiting my mom in Vermont so I’m not doing much. It’s cold and windy out with a good chance of rain. If I was going out I’d dress up as a bad-ass biker. Or maybe leather face!

Or I could wear a cheap patchwork leather jacket and go as that guy in “Silence of the lambs”. (you know, he was making a skin form for himself,,patchwork,,, yeah,,,). But since I’m not going anywhere I get to stay in and write this riveting post!

So anyway I hope everyone else is having a good time trick or treating, or going to some crazy Halloween party. Be safe and watch out for monsters and goblins. Happy Halloween from Leather Supreme! (Hey, it rhymes!) ;)

Fall foliage pictures from my Vermont vacation

Vermont fall pictures 2009

Hi everyone! I’m up in my home state of Vermont for a short working vacation and seeing the fall foliage season. It’s a bit late up here, most of the leaves are off the trees in the mountains. But I did take some pictures that look okay. The one bright day out I had a smudge on my lens, so those are hazy.

Then the next day was overcast, so the pictures came out dull and cold looking. But I made a page of my best pictures you can see here in my Vermont fall pictures page. So you can take a peek at them and let me know what you think. I’ve got to brush up on my photograph skills!

Going for a motorcycle ride in the fall in Vermont is fantastic and a great way to see the best fall foliage. With a good leather jacket to keep you warm and leather gloves it’s not too cold, except maybe for the night. However it’s a bit late in the season now, and I sure am not going riding out there on a bike! Anyway enjoy the Vermont fall foliage pictures.

Cool true story just in time for Halloween!

Well today I have a post that has nothing to do with leather. Instead I’d like to share a true story that happened to me over last weekend. I have some friends that went away to Tampa for four days. They have two big dogs and a cat, so I helped them out by house sitting for them.

Thursday night went fine. Then Friday night came. Now, for those who don’t know, I’m a bit hard of hearing. So when I’m asleep I don’t hear much. I was sleeping in a back spare room of the house. Around 2:30 AM the dogs woke me up by jumping on the bed and barking.

So I got up and went to the living room. They were both growling at the back door. The house has a fenced in back yard with a screened in back patio. There is a double door that opens to the back patio from the house. It’s that type of door where one is shut all the time by a sliding latch at the bottom and top of it.
