Once again it’s time for the Daytona Beach Bike Week 2011! I’ve gone there each year for the past few years and I will be there again this year. This time I hope to take much more bike week pictures and videos. 😉
The video above is the one I took of last years Bike Week 2010. It’s not much but it gives you a little idea of what it’s about. Since I live in Orlando I’m only 40 minutes away. I had another one of the wet T shirt contest at Dirty Harry’s but Youtube took it down, pantie wipes!

I think there will be a nice turn out this year for Daytona Beach Bike Week 2011. It’s been a damn long, snowy, cold winter up north and bikers everywhere want to get out where it’s warm and do some biking!
As always the big hot spot of Bike Week is the Daytona Beach main street by the beach. There you can see dozens of vendors selling everything you can think of for bikers.
Leather jackets, boots, vest, bike parts, hats, whatever. There also was a heck of a lot of food vendors last year too. Seems like I saw a few dozen BBQ and beer food joints just down main street alone!
Of course you can find plenty of beer at Bike Week 2011 too. Popular Bike Week bars include Boot Hill Saloon, Froggies, Dirty Harry’s and many more. For a list of the Central Florida Harley Davidson dealers, check out my Bike Week Harley dealers article.
Over at the front of the Daytona Beach speedway close by highway 95 they always have lots of bike week vendors. Not only that but they have many bikes for sale, including fantastic custom bikes!
You can see some in my custom bike gallery link above. The paint jobs on these bikes is awesome. Heck if I bought one I’d be afraid to ride it and get it dirty!
There are literally hundreds of events going on during the Daytona Beach Bike Week 2011. It seems to get bigger each year as more places try to get some of those biker bucks!
I should open myself a booth there for my leather jackets, but I never get around to it. Now a word of advice I give every year for those who are staying in Orlando and riding to Daytona each day.
Do NOT take I-4! There seems to be an accident on it every damn 20 minutes all through bike week and it turns into a 60 mile long parking lot. Instead, take the Bee line expressway to I-95.
Then head north on it to Daytona. I ignored my own advice last year on the one day I went and spent 3 hours going that 60 miles on I-4! So don’t say I didn’t warn you.
