Which our vacations to Boston and Vermont went really nice and it was a great break for both of us. Vacation Update!!
Good morning and happy new week to everyone! Just wanted to stop by and give you all an update on this upcoming weeks events. This week starting from Wednesday October 10th I myself will be going away to Boston on a family vacation.
I will be up there with my daughter to enjoy some cooler air and to get a break from Florida for a week, definitely lots of fun things to do and get done. We have a wedding and a football game to attend so that will be very fun and lots of family to see. I will give all of you updates when I get back. I am sure I will have lots to write about!
Going on a Vermont vacation soon
Well everyone, it’s about time for a vacation for myself! I’m from Vermont, so every year once it gets summer I go up for a visit. I just can’t stand the cold up there in the winter, but summer is nice up there.
So I’ll be going up there in two weeks. This time I have a camcorder so I’ll take some nice videos of the woods and places up there. I’ll share them on here when I get back. You do want to see my vacation videos, right? 🙂
I’ll take my leather jacket as it still gets cool up there in the evenings. I’ll go up to Stowe and several other places where you can go far up the mountains and see beautiful views.
I’ll take my laptop so I’ll still be working and taking orders, so feel free to order anything while I’m on vacation please! It will be nice to go and see some place different for a bit.
Fall foliage pictures from my Vermont vacation
Hi everyone! I’m up in my home state of Vermont for a short working vacation and seeing the fall foliage season. It’s a bit late up here, most of the leaves are off the trees in the mountains. But I did take some pictures that look okay. The one bright day out I had a smudge on my lens, so those are hazy.
Then the next day was overcast, so the pictures came out dull and cold looking. But I made a page of my best pictures you can see here in my Vermont fall pictures page. So you can take a peek at them and let me know what you think. I’ve got to brush up on my photograph skills!
Going for a motorcycle ride in the fall in Vermont is fantastic and a great way to see the best fall foliage. With a good leather jacket to keep you warm and leather gloves it’s not too cold, except maybe for the night. However it’s a bit late in the season now, and I sure am not going riding out there on a bike! Anyway enjoy the Vermont fall foliage pictures.
Fall foliage season in Stowe, Vermont
Hi there everyone. Well as some of you know, I am taking a working vacation up in Vermont where I was born and raised. The fall is what I always like the best in Vermont. The winters are just too damn cold, which is why I moved to Florida. But I do like the fall with the beautiful fall colors. I’m going to be up here until Nov. 1st.
Last weekend I went with a lady friend up to Stowe, Vermont. It’s a popular tourist and ski town, and also has the highest mountain in Vermont, Mt. Mansfield. So we drove up to the top on the toll road, then hiked to the very top. However it was a foggy day, so the top was nothing but mist and fog. I took some pictures that you can see here.
The one above is at the very top, walking along the ridge line. Nothing but rocks, stunned firs and blueberry bushes. On a clear day you can see for miles and miles, it’s a spectacular sight. Needless to say, that was not one of those days! The picture at the very top is down the mountain more, where they are building a giant ski resort.
Finally the one below is of the gondolas that go up the mountain. They use those for skiing and summer visits. It was still a little too early for the peak fall foliage colors, this weekend and the next should be perfect. I’m going up in the hills again this weekend where I know of some great trout streams, ponds and swamps. I should be able to take some great pictures.
So that’s it, just wanted to share a few pictures. I’ll post the others once I get them. I’m still working on the leather store, I have so much to do, but I want to get out and enjoy the fall too! I should have some leather saddlebags and other motorcycle gear bags ready to sell soon. If you ever get the chance take a Vermont vacation in the fall, it’s great!
